summary: holy balls batman! more fun in the sun and super epic board and sled jumping.

Another power rad bro-down session out at Gold Creek took place this weekend. the sun was out again in full effect and when the snow softened it was GAME ON!!
think in this version of my report I'll tell the stories with photos as i roll thru.. well until i get tired of telling stories behind the pics because, holy hell we got a lot of pictures to look at here.. and we even got some video.. so.... on with the show!

Arrive, drop sleds, gear up, get our tough guys shades on and start the strut to the trail head to braaap our way out to the zone..

i call this one the "The Right Stuff Crew"




out we go up up and up the road we rolled, Tommy, on his 1st day finally rallying his sled. i know he was happy to finally get it rolling and ride!! me too!!

after a couple sled cool stops since the road up was still pretty rock hard iced, we got to the golf course zone.. i looked up a a couple lines Aly and I had hit a couple days before, it looked sunny and soft so i asked for a lift up to hit it.. this ended up being my only board run of the day.. sledding took me over..

i call this corny collage: "hit it, carve it, STOKED"



i think after that line the crew stoke factor hit in and everyone started picking out there lines and jumps..
1st off Matt looked at getting a few slashes in on the mini spine.. so there he went..




Then Josiah the doughboy shredder took a wack at the mini spine slasher to jump.




next up Matt spotted the gap hit we were hitting a couple days before and decided it was a go..

then next up it was Mr Tommy's turn, he spotted a new angle and new hit right off the bat.. walked down, stomped it out to make a nice run way, took one run down to it to smooth it out and then the session was ON!!  Tom started out by hitting it HUGE and throwing this super stylie crale off it...



next up the whole crew takes there turns at hitting it..

I think everyone hit it quite a few more times while i shuttled people and did some sled rallying on my own.. all the while, I kept eye'ing the jump they were hitting, but with my sled.. so. once they were done with it, i finally creeped down to the edge, scoped out a my intended bomb hole landing spot, the crew gathered, setup in various spots for a cool shot.. and then i screamed DROP IN!!!!! and goosed the throttle right off the ledge.. down down i went, whammo!  landed softly and rode away..  stoke factor 12 hit me and my whole body started shaking from adrenalin.. i just stepped into a whole new realm of sledding that i'm still pumped up on right now.. note: i almost poooped myself to i think..

OK BREAK TIME!!! i think by this point we are all pretty whooped and stoked on all of our fun.. so we hang out, crack a beer and talk up the good times..

onward, whopped and out of body gas we all finally made our way back down to the road and out.. but not with out one more cattrack racer style run between swappy and I.. sorry no pics of that but it is in the video..

finally we get to the snopark, load up our sleds, boards, change cloths and celebrate with hot weeners from the muffler cooking hot pot..
