Baltardz BIG - 143mb - 22 minutes

Baltardz SMALL - 43mb - 22 minutes

Words taken off of http://sleestak.net

"Seattle (pop 563,000) has only 1 city-owned skateboard park located in Ballard (about 5 miles NW of downtown). This bowl was a temporary fixture (in mind) created with volunteer efforts and donations"

"The Ballard Bowl is a destination spot for traveling skateboarders and a great place for locals to meet and have a good time. The Parks Dept and corporate interests wanted it gone. The bowl only takes up approx. 80 x 55 feet and despite whopping turnouts at the meetings, the city has turned a blind eye to the needs and wants of the large skateboard community we have here"

Baltardz is a Memorial Video for the late Ballard Bowl.  Seattles OMLB crew mostly, a group of core older guys still skating and having good times in there 30's. A new bowl was actually built to replace the old one and the Skating still goes down DAILY!

AFNK Teaser

OSP - All Filler, NO Killer

Plain and simple, the winter of 2005 was hell. Rumors were that it could be blamed on a toque burning gone wrong. for years the Crew had always burned a toque or other such endeared snowboard type objects from the previous season. It was a tribute to the snow gods, making a sacrifice for the new season, all in the hopes that the snow would fall upon them like a Volcano erupting and blanketing the world with ash. In the fall of 2005 the Guys got a little overzealous and brought a plastic Girl doll from China to the toque burning. Rumor is the lack of snow for that winter season was all her fault.  So she got her’s..
And we paid our dues, repented, and did a ton of alternative activities and waited for another winter..and waited.. and waited some more..

In EARLY November 2005 things were starting to heat up, or should I say cool down, that’s when redemption time kicked in.. For this was to be one of the best winters the Northwest had seen since the epic winter of 98. Storms blanketed the Northwest hills relentlessly and it seemed like the sun would never shine again.. As soon as the local ski resorts opened, they closed because of to much snow! For months we never ever felt our edges touch hardpack! And beneath each fluffy powder cloud we were grinning ear to ear.
This is the Story of two guys and their friends that repeated the splendor that Mother Nature provided over the course of the winter of 2006. No pro’s, just bro’s, sliding a piece of wood down a hill sideways like it was meant to be slid....

OSP - CornDog Diaries

The best days start off simple, Precipitation in the form of Crystalline water ice,
Reward yourself. Consider some mystery meat, packed into a sheep casing, blanketed in cornbread, and dropped in a vat of oil at 175 degrees. batter, dip, and repeat, I say. Can't get enough of that meaty goodness.  For some days we wish we'd had all the time in the world, instead it's only six months.

So secure a stretch for fun and games and hold down the fort. Cause I hear there's a storm moving in, and Lee's just dropped a whole 'nother fresh batch of Corndogs! Raise your guns and represent the Northwest. And keep the transient times homespun where fat powder sprays. Eestablish all the good days, there's camaraderie to be had. Pack a corndog for the sessions that really matter. For this was the winter of 2008, and these are the Corn Dog Diaries.. Just another daaaaayyy.

OSP - Depends on Conditions

3 thousand 7 hundred miles and change, DOC, this is our winter, always driving it seems, more time on the road than on the hill one would think. we drive to work everyday and on the weekends we drive even more to play, searching for soft snow on the horizon, powder goodness, snow storms and sunshine rays. in the northwest bluebirds are hard to find but snow storms and good friends r here all the time. so here's another journey thru the northwest we love, the places we call home and all the hills we rome. Is it snowing again in the hills you ask? and i say, "i'm riding the snow again, DOC.."
